BACKGROUND Scott received a B.S. in Forest
Management from Oregon State University in 1977, and his J.D. from
Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College, in 1988. Prior
to law school, Scott worked as a forester for the NW Pine Association
in Spokane. During law school, he worked for several timber trade
associations. In addition to his practice, Scott is a California Registered
Professional Forester.
