With a strong emphasis on public-private partnerships, the lawyers in our government affairs practice advise clients on practical strategies to achieve their business objectives, support economic development and help build thriving Northwest communities.

Led by former Portland City Commissioner Jim Francesconi, our government affairs team has vast experience working with city, county, regional, state and federal government agencies as well as business and community organizations. Clients rely on their knowledge of government, hands-on policy experience and ability to navigate the changing maze of government regulations to save time, money and create positive outcomes for everyone.

Whether it’s evaluating public policy, monitoring regulatory and legislative developments, representing organizations before government bodies, or assisting with economic development and work force training, our team can provide the sophisticated counseling needed to develop solutions that work for the community, business and government.
